Today marks the start of teacher appreciation week. Whether you are a parent of a child who is in the school or you have a teacher yourself this week is super important. Teachers are Beyond underpaid. They are underappreciated and they don’t deserve that. As someone who has studied to become a teacher and has teachers in my family, I know firsthand how bad it could be. So I want to challenge you guys this week. Give appreciation to a teacher you know. How to do that exactly I’ll give you a few ideas.
Give them a gift.
Give them something they want and we’ll use it. Just give me some classroom supplies or something they just love and always wanted or even gift cards! Just make sure its something they could actually use or that they want that an important rule to gift giving! You could make them something fun! the ideas are endless!
Do something nice for them.
Maybe bring them some breakfast in the morning or see if they need help around the classroom. My grandmother who was a teacher said one of the big things that I was made her happy is when a student that would help out in class cleaning up and staying after. So ask if there is anything you can do to help your teacher!
Be nice to your teacher.
I know they give out school work and I know you hate studying but that’s no reason to be mean to them. They work hard to put together these lessons and try to make it as fun as they can. So try to say thank you once in a while or say it was a good lesson little compliments to your teacher will make a big impact. So go give out some compliments.
At the end of the week, it should not be the end of appreciating your teacher. They work way too hard and don’t get appreciated enough. Between the low pay and all the shit they take, they deserve so much more. So be nice to your teacher and appreciation them all the time.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments down below Are you a teacher and did you ever do anything fun for Teacher Appreciation Week? That’s always thank you for everything you do, I love you guys so much, and I’ll see you in the next post!
