Soooo… Yes I know St. Patrick’s Day was yesterday. I forgot to get this up in time SO here it is. You can still have some St. Patrick’s Day after it!
I adore St. Patrick’s Days. I love getting to wear green, It’s a good reason to have some beer, and you might get lucky and see a leprechaun. But this year’s St. Patrick’s day is going to be a little different. I’m made a list of things you can do in the comforts of your home! They are kid-friendly and a lot of fun. SO let’s get started!
Make a leprechaun trap.
I use to do this when i was a kid. We would use old boxes and make a trap with stuff we had at home. Then we will set it up and go to sleep, and then in the morning, we saw the leprechaun got out but left some candy and a mess to clean up!
I know food dye isnt for everyone, but if its something you don’t mind, adds some to your food! It will get the kids excited and in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. You can also add green food to your menu. Like green beans(my favorite)
Find the Gold
If all else fails, make a scavenger hunt with “gold.” It will get the kids up and moving around. Hide pieces of gold around the house leaving clues along with it. You don’t have to go all out with it but its still a fun game to play and keep your mind off everything.
I hope you guys stay safe and be careful. And I hope you have a fun and safe St. Patrick’s Day. Let me know in comments down below, What do you want to see on the blog?
