So if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen my Instagram stories but I keep mentioning school work. About a few weeks ago I enrolled and taking a journalism course. It was a decision I’ve been debating for about a month or two I wanted to do it but I was scared that I didn’t have the time to do it.with everything going on my anxiety has been the worst to try and add school work on top of everything was something I didn’t want to do. So I decided to do it anyways.
After I got my GED I decided that I wasn’t going to go to college just yet.I knew I wanted to do something but I didn’t know what I wanted so I didn’t want to pay all this money to have not yet decided what I’m doing with my life. Then the blog happened and I fell in love with writing again.so I ended up signing to not go to college but instead just take some courses to get certified. One of them being a freelance writing course. To get my freelance writing career up and running. So I took that course and realize it is so hard to get certified as a freelance writer. So I did research into the best courses to take and once I would help me personally. Are people recommended during a journalism course to have that to put on my resume.so bad after her a few months doing research I ended up deciding to take one. Well not just one but two. And if I ever want to go into the journalism career I have a head start in it.
So why am I telling you all this?to show you don’t need college to have a career. This day and age there are so many ways to get educated to get certified and to get the classes you need was out doing college. but with that being said if you want to go to college or you think you have to go to college then go to college. There’s nothing wrong with that either. But it’s also not a problem with waiting. I’m only 22 years old some people say that as waiting too long to get my career started. But it’s not. Look through all yourchoices and don’t put your eggs all in the same basket. Do your research and figure out what’s best for you.
